Book Logs

Please have book logs for the 4th nine weeks turned in to me by May 20th. Your child should have read at least 35 books this grading period.

New Conduct Reports

Beginning March 2nd, we will begin a new way to let you know about your child's daily conduct. Each student will have a set of colored cards on a chart. Poor behavior choices will result in changing the cards to another color. At the end of the day, each student will color that day on the calendar in their take home folder according to their conduct. For example, if your child stays on good behavior, he/she will color that day green. If they had a couple of warnings, they will color the day blue, etc. I have listed below the colors and grade equivalent.
Green - E
Blue - S+
Orange - S
Purple - S-
Red - U

Destination Success

Please take a look at the Destination Success online help. A postcard size notice was put in your child's takehome folder yesterday outlining how to access this great website. The games are great fun to learn and reinforce literacy and math skills. I highly recommend it.
